Event Recaps
23

On a clear Sunday afternoon, over 65 people, including Congresswomen Jackie Speier and City of Pacifica Mayor Julie Lancelle, met at Mori Point in Pacifica to help rehabilitate the landscape and to protect the endangered specifies of the San Francisco garter snake. It is estimated that only 1500 of these gorgeous animals are in existence in the world! Volunteers enjoyed friendly camaraderie and learned to identify plants such as coyote bush, wild mustard weeds, sagebrush, and poison oak!
