Officers
Jenny Lau

Jenny Lau - President

Jenny is the President of NAAAP-SF. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring that there is effective communication between all the Board Members and Officers. She gets updates from various committees to make sure all deadlines are met and ensures to guide the team to successfully achieve their goals.

Jenny is involved with the planning of leadership and networking events. She Leads NAAAP SF's Annual Holiday Bash. She makes sure to provide a friendly environment for members to network with each other, and ensures good opportunities for non-members to learn more about the organization as well as upcoming events. Not only is she inspired by NAAAP’s mission to cultivate and empower leaders for professional excellence, but she enjoys engaging and participating with the community at large.

Jenny earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology at Sacramento State University. As a Sociology Major, she studied critical analysis to develop and refine a body of knowledge about human social activity. This lead her to now dedicate her time to NAAAP where she takes joy in organizing, planning, networking, and learning something new through every task and every interaction she encounters.

Jenny enjoys traveling and discovering the local cultures of the different places she visits. She loves fine dining as she sees it like art. When she's not NAAAP-ing, she is baking something sweet!


Henry Tran

Henry Tran - Vice President

Henry is a Vice President for NAAAP-SF.  In his role, Henry is responsible for marketing NAAAP-SF’s social and professional events.  Through these events, NAAAP-SF is able to connect Asian American professionals and to develop the next generation of Asian American leaders.

Henry is currently a Compliance Analyst at an asset management firm in San Francisco where he is responsible for enforcing the firm’s code of ethics, compliance with regulatory requirements and marketing material review. Previously, he was a Derivatives Pricing Analyst for State Street Bank and Trust.

Henry earned his B.A. in Political Science and Economics from UC Davis. In his spare time, he is a volunteer tutor for the Tenderloin After-School Program. He grew up in San Francisco and is finding it very hard to leave. He enjoys running, playing basketball, and traveling.


Shane Zhao

Shane Zhao - Vice President

Shane is a Vice President for NAAAP-SF. In this role, he is responsible for outreaching to new and current NAAAP-SF members in an effort to develop new ways that would continue to cultivate high quality experiences for everyone involved.

Shane currently works for an international architecture and planning firm in downtown San Francisco. He has been involved in the design and implementation of various large scale urban projects in Asia.

Shane received his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Master’s degree in Urban Design from Harvard University. Originally from the East Coast, Shane recently moved to San Francisco about a year and a half ago. Since then, he has been enjoying the great Californian lifestyle and working with dedicated members who are passionate about giving back to the community.


Christopher Yeh

Christopher Yen - Director of Corporate Development

Christopher Yen currently manages the advanced underwriting and planning unit for American Brokerage Network, the largest Asian American run financial service brokerage firm in California with offices in San Francisco, Taipei, and Hong Kong. Prior to joining ABN, Chris served as the Director of Brokerage Services for San Mateo based SGC Financial Services, a financial planning firm with over a billion dollars under management. Chris started in the private wealth management business as a specialist in insurance premium financing and senior life settlements with Blackhawk Wealth Solutions where he eventually became the Senior Vice President of Operations and a junior partner of the firm. Prior to entering the wealth management industry, Chris worked in Taiwan as a hedge fund analyst for London based Man Group plc, the leading alternative investment brokerage and management company in the world, covering Asian equity derivatives and CTAs on the Hong Kong and Taiwan stock exchange. Chris received his Bachelor’s degrees from University of California, Berkeley: a BS in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research and BA in Economics.

Chris serves as the Director of Corporate development with NAAAP San Francisco, in charge of maintaining and building relationships with other Asian community organizations in the bay area. He enjoys jogging, cooking and diving for abalones in his spare time.



Ray Rekhi

Ray Rekhi - Director of Corporate Development

Ray is the Co Director of Corporate Development. In this role, he teams up with his partner, Chris Yen to be in charge of maintaining and building relationships with other Asian community organizations in the bay area. Ray believe it’s the people that make the difference. He feels that the leadership team at NAAAP is very dedicated, and is doing an amazing job promoting development and networking opportunities for young professionals. He is passionate about giving back to the community and is honorably excited to be part of this organization to develop the next generation of leaders!

Currently, Ray is the Vice President-Business Development and leads a team at Wells Fargo in Palo Alto. Ray’s team helps domestic & international businesses with financing, risk & treasury management, real estate, investments, commercial loans, business growth & strategy and  financial & retirement planning.  His group offers high value businesses expert advice & a comprehensive range of products and services to find the most effective solutions. Ray has over 12 years of professional experience. Prior to Wells Fargo, he worked with Merrill Lynch as a Sales Analyst.

Ray holds an MBA in Finance from SF State University. His bachelor’s degree was in accounting. Ray sits on the Board of the Disability Programs for Students at SF State University to give disabled students the resources to get the education they need to make a difference in their lives. Ray is also on the board of the National Indian Business Association – Santa Clara (NIBA) & the California Small Business Association (CSBA). 

In his spare time, Ray likes to travel, collect fine wines, and enjoy fine dining & trying out different cuisines.


Jeanne Lam

Jeanne Lam - Director of Programs

Jeanne is the Director of Programs for NAAAP-SF. In this role, she is responsible for coordinating and planning events both on a monthly basis as well as the logistics of each upcoming event. She works closely with the affiliate group so that our events mesh logically with those of other local groups. Her passion to contribute to the Asian community has lead her to NAAAP-SF where she intends to make a difference and  share the mission of becoming a leader.

Currently, Jeanne is a Student Health Coordinator for Samuel Merritt University, a fully accredited health sciences institution. She manages the medical coordination of 1,500 students  in four campus locations to ensure compliancy in higher health standards.

Jeanne holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Corporate Management and Marketing from Califormia State University Hayward. She enjoys exploring new restaurants every chance she gets, whether it is fine dining or a local dive. She also loves wine tasting and wishes to travel around the world.


Isabel Nguyen

Isabel Nguyen - Director of Programs

Isabel is the Director of Programs for NAAAP-SF. In this role, she is expected to direct planning on NAAAP's numerous community, social, and professional events. Her main responsibility this year is to coordinate NAAAP's West Coast Conference in May. Her organization, communication, and leadership skills led her to become an officer of NAAAP, and she hopes to help other members develop their own social network and professional skills.

Isabel was born in Texas to two Vietnamese parents who came to America as college students on scholarships. Isabel then moved with her family to Southern California and lived there until she was accepted to the University of California, Berkeley as an undergraduate. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing. Isabel spent many years helping students, faculty, and staff in IT desktop and end-user support, but she also worked on mentoring students to develop their technical skills professionally. From high school through her years after college, Isabel had a knack for designing documentation and writing policies to help educate staff, and this led to a 3-year career in Human Resources in the university's Office of the Chief Information Officer and Information Services & Technology department. She then moved into a position in U.C. Berkeley's Human Resources Center, a shared service center dedicated to university compliance and a high level of customer service and efficiency, supporting Administration, IT, and the Chancellor's Office. In this role, she has been expected to develop one of the university's first automated HR systems, manage the HR Center's ad hoc projects, as well as analyze and consolidate HR business processes across numerous departments.

Ever since Isabel spent a study-abroad summer in Europe, she has enjoyed food, culture, and travel. Recently, she traveled to Vancouver, toured Japan and Korea, and visited New York, which she does once a year. Her favorite past-times include fashion, hosting parties and events, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.


Paul Chu

Paul Chu - Director of Programs

Paul is the Director of Programs for NAAAP-SF. In this role, he is responsible for planning professional development programs and events for current and prospective NAAAP members.Paul’s interest in NAAAP-SF is driven by his desire to support the local non-profit community and help develop more Asian-American leaders.

Currently, Paul is a Mergers & Acquisitions Manager at VMware, and has previously held various IT management, business analysis, and consulting positions at Symantec, Accenture, and Gilsson Technologies.

Paul received a B.A from the University of California, Berkeley in Information Systems Management and Organizational Theory.

Paul likes to stay active and is perpetually hungry (food, knowledge, etc), and in his spare time is always looking for a good burrito or stimulating conversation, ideally in the same setting.


Jessie Lee

Jessie Lee - Director of Community Development

Jessie is a Director of Community Development for NAAAPSF. Her responsibilities are to develop a strategy to engage groups in the community and sponsor joint events with those groups in the Bay Area.

Jessie is a top producer at Climb Real Estate Group and specializes in helping people buy or sell high-rise condominiums, lofts and single family homes in San Francisco.

Jessie graduated from Kon-Kuk University in Seoul, Korea with a B.A. degree in Biochemistry. She soon relocated to the United States to complete a second degree in Hotel Property Management at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas ("UNLV"). While attending UNLV, Jessie studied and learned Japanese. Her language skills led her to contribute to the development of the online Japanese instruction program, "You So Crazy Cooking Show."

Jessie is a Vice President at Korean American Chamber of Commerce. She tirelessly works for her community with conviction, focus and dedication.


Eli Kuo

Eli Kuo - Director of Community Development

Eli Kuo serves as the Director of Community Development for NAAAP-SF. He has extensive experience in developing partnerships with Asian American organizations. Eli helped organize several community events with NAAAP-SF, including the Lunar New Year Gala, the Asian American Holiday Bash, Asian American's in Government, and Happy Hour with Plate-By-Plate at Chambers. He also serves as the Social Chair of Taiwanese American Professionals (TAP-SF). Eli is the Founder/General Manager of Collegible.com, an academic tutoring, test-prep, and college admissions advisory service. Eli holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and Bachelor’s in History from UCLA.


Steven Yee

Steven Yee - Director of Community Service

Steven is the Director of Community Service for NAAAP-SF. In this role, Steven is responsible for identifying community service projects to better the Bay Area. He's also continuously developing strategies to recruit volunteers from NAAAP. Steven has a big part in working with Corporate and Community Development teams to get partners in service projects.

Steven’s interest in NAAAP-SF is sparked by his passion and desire to give back to the Asian-American community and help develop more Asian-American leaders. 

Currently, Steven is an analyst for a firm that specializes in financial and credit risk management tools and services. He is involved with fostering client relationships and managing client implementations for his company's services.

Steven holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Boston College. Originally from Boston, Steven has been in the San Francisco bay area for over 6 years. He enjoys performing and theatrical arts and is a big sports fan. He loves playing basketball and going snowboarding. Steven will never pass up on a trip to Tahoe!


Sirch Chanthyasack

Sirch Chanthyasack - Director of Community Service

Sirch Chanthyasack believes that great leaders are great listeners…versatile, both shrewd & wise, decisive, yet patient, knowing when to lead and when to follow. Through honest, open dialogue we can move forward and bring real change and progress towards collaboration, teamwork, and finding solutions/common grounds for a more inclusive society. He is passionate about advancing Asian American professionals and giving back to the community.

He has over 15 years of corporate American experience and a strong community advocate, in hopes of achieving socio-economic and political equity in America. He began his career in 1996 on Wall Street as a stockbroker, financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, private banker at JPMorgan Chase. For the past decade he has volunteer with theLaotian American National Alliance, Inc. (LANA) and presently leading/serving as their CEO to raise the visibility and providing a voice for the community at both the local and national level.

He moved to California in 2006, started working for Verizon as an advertising account executive in San Jose, CA. For the past three years, he has help lead/organize the annual International Lao New Year Festival in the CivicCenter, Tenderloin District of San Francisco. He's the regional director of the National Task Force on Hepatitis B forN. California surrounding states. In 2011, Sirch help establish the Southeast Asian Arts & Cultural Coalition to educate the public and the City & County of San Francisco about our diverse communities, raise the visibility of the Tenderloin District, promoting, and preserving cultural heritage. He now works for JPMorgan Chase as a business specialist banker in Novato, CA.

In 1995, he earned his Economic & Psychology bachelors degrees from Binghamton University-SUNY and his MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix in 2009. He's a Class of 2010 alumni of the LEAP Executive Directors Leadership Program, Los Angeles, CA. He resides in San Francisco with his wife Mimi and 4 yr old son Aaron.


Stephanie Ng

Stephanie Ng - Director of Marketing

Stephanie Ng is the Director of Marketing. In her role, she is responsible for the outreach to the NAAAP-SF membership base and to raise awareness, interest, and participation in the events and activities NAAAP-SF has to offer.


Stephanie is currently the public relations director at the Law Offices of Daniel Feder. She is responsible for fostering client relationships and promoting the law firm. Working there for two years, her hope for the future is to eventually attend law school

Stephanie earned a B.S. degree in Psychology with a biology emphasis from the University of California, Davis. Born and raised in San Francisco, Stephanie enjoys organizing many of the city's major events and spends a lot of time fundraising money for various non profits. Aside from that, Stephanie is the public relations director of the Miss Asian America Pageant and the Miss San Francisco Pageant.


Reynald Ong

Reynald Ong - Director of Marketing

Rey is a Director of Marketing for NAAAP-SF. In his role, Rey is responsible for marketing NAAAP-SF’s social and professional events as well as develop a marketing strategy that can be consistently followed for future events. Through the social and professional events, NAAAP-SF is able to connect Asian American professionals within the San Francisco community and beyond while helping develop the skills for these next generation professionals to become leaders within their community, social and professional circles.

Rey is currently a Solutions Specialist at an Israeli firm called NICE. He is currently stationed in San Francisco but handles the Asia Pacific region. His responsibility as a Solutions Specialist includes helping sales people position NICE software application products as business solutions to prospects as well as evangelize the methodology of doing high value software application sales process within the Asia Pacific organization. Previously, he was a Principle Product Manager for Oracle's Identity and Access Management product line.

Rey earned his B.S. with a double major of Computer Science and Business Administration at Carnegie Mellon University. Subsequently, he went on to earn his Masters in Information Systems Management from CMU as well. Born in Philippines, grew up in Taiwan, went to college in Pittsburgh, worked in Washington DC, then traveled up and down the East Coast as an IT consultant and finally landed in San Francisco since late 2007, Rey has lived a rather nomadic life. In his spare time, he enjoys photography, music, movies, traveling and good food.


Jonathan Cheung

Jonathan Cheung - Director of Marketing

Jonathan Cheung is the Director of Marketing for NAAAP-SF. As Director of Marketing, Jonathan is responsible for outreach to the NAAAP-SF membership base to raise awareness, interest and participation in the events and activities that NAAAP-SF has to offer. He is also leading the mentoring initiatives for college students.

Jonathan is the Co-founder and COO of Quosap. Quosap is an enterprise Software-as-a-Service provider for the construction industry allowing contractors to obtain competitive quotes, manage and revise quotes, and share project documents with multiple vendors and service providers. Prior to joining Quosap, Jonathan was an Associate at KPMG’s Economic and Valuation Services practice. While there, he conducted valuations of businesses, private stock, options, debt securities and a wide range of intangible assets. He also has experience in management consulting, private equity, commercial lending, and wealth management.

Jonathan holds a bachelor’s degree from Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He completed all 3 levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst examinations and is eligible for the CFA Charterholder designation. Born and raised in Guam, Jonathan has been in the Bay Area for over 6 years. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, wine tasting, running, and playing poker.


George Su

George Su - Creative Director

George Su is Marketing Creative Director for NAAAP-SF. Responsible for ensuring a professional standard for the organization, he is guiding the next generation of design professionals in graphic design and new media.

George has been working for the National Park Service at Golden Gate National Parks for over 20 years. He was able to get his break into the federal government during his sophmore year at San Jose State University, when he applied for a summer internship through a cooperative education program in 1991. He has been working as the Media Specialist for the Golden Gate National Parks since 1999, where he continues to influence the park professional standards in publications, new media, universal access (accessibility), and the web nationally

George is also the founder and volunteer coordinator of the Design Volunteers In Parks program with the National Park Service—an innovative program that works with students from the Academy of Art University, Ex'pression College, and R/GA—which helps introduce the next generation of designers to a global market. Currently he is working on expanding the program to Mount Rainier National Park and to Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Preserves. In 2011, his volunteers (116 students) contributed over 16,000 hours of volunteer time to the National Park Service.

George also holds two degrees: Bachelor of Science, Environmental Science with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism from San Jose State University and Bachelor of Arts, New Media from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. He is also affiliated with the American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA), the Designer's Accord (sustainability), and the Radio Television News Director's Association (RTNDA). He currently spends his time volunteering for various nonprofit organzations like the Taproot Foundation and the San Francisco Orchid Society by providing his expertise in design and new media.


Raymond Luk

Raymond Luk - Vice President of Technology

Raymond is VP of Technology NAAAP-SF. In this role, he is responsible for developing and maintaining the NAAAP SF website and other IT related developments.

Raymond was part of the event planning team during NAAAP 2008 National Convention. Since then, he has been an active member of NAAAP. Raymond will also sit on the Technology Committee for the NAAAP 2009 National ConventionRaymond is currently a Software Engineer at Medallia, developing enterprise survey engine for top companies in their fields such as Hilton, Apple, and Fidelity. Prior to Medallia, Raymond was an engineer in TeleNav developing real time navigation system for US and China.

Raymond earned his B.S. degree at UC Berkeley and a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He enjoys trying out different cuisines, watching different genres of films, and traveling.


Kenneth Lo

Kenneth Lo - Director of Technology

Kenneth Lo, PMP is the Chief Strategist of Kattelo Consulting which provides professional services to companies of all sizes adopting SharePoint technologies. Kenneth is a battle-tested SharePoint evangelist and entrepreneur with extensive management consulting experiences. His clientele ranges from Silicon Valley startups to Fortune 500 companies. Kenneth combines his passion and expertise in mobile technologies and specializes in SharePoint mobility strategies and adoption.

Being a risk-averse person at heart, Kenneth spends his leisure time mountain biking, rock climbing, and scuba diving.
