The Professional Development committee organizes a broad array of seminars, educational workshops, and resources that help NAAAP-SF members further their professional skills to excel in the workplace.  Topic matters include:

• Career focused panels like Marketing or Finance
• Career planning
• MBA application advice
• Opportunities in Asia
• Public speaking

 

Entrepreneurial

The Entrepreneurial Development committee encourages and provides tools for NAAAP-SF members to start their own business. This committee organizes events that facilitate the exchange of ideas and skills, seminars on starting a business, workshops on how to make the pitch, and more.

 

Leadership

The Leadership Development committee provides hands on experience, feedback, and education to bring out the leadership potential in all of us. This committee is both externally and internally focused.

Externally, this committee provides educational and motivational workshops, including Women in Leadership and other leadership focused panels.

Internally, this committee provides staff focused leadership training to enhance hands on experience as board members and officers, with feedback and training.

 

Emerging Technologies

The Emerging Technologies committee educates NAAAP-SF members to the latest technology development and connects those interested in taking advantage of opportunities that arise. Areas of review can include Hi-Tech, Bio-Tech, Energy, New Media and more.

 

Social & Recreational

The Social & Recreational committee hosts monthly mixers and activities that enable the NAAAP-SF community to broaden their experiences and network. These events can range from culinary tours to sports, cultural, and volunteering activities.
